During today’s morning training in Pitzal, Ilka Å tuhec injured her left knee. After the fall, last year’s downhill World champion immediately passed a medical examination at a nearby clinic specialized in sports injuries. The diagnosis has shown that the Slovenian ski champion teared anterior cruciate ligament in her knee.

For the time being, Ilka Å tuhec is forced to leave out the majority or even the entire World Cup season due to the injury, including the Winter Olympics in South Korea.

More details about the injury will be known in the coming days.
